"Let Go Let God"
By WendyParrott

  King David knew about pressures,
 and frustrations the tries him sore;
 He knew about deep depression,
 and sorrow that cut to the core.

 He knew of deep waters that covered
 the very depths of his soul;
 He knew about sinking in mire,
 and about losing sight of his goal.

 He knew about tatol exhaustion;
 he cried till his throat had dried;
 He knew about being hated,
 and about being broken inside.

 He knew about being a stranger
and an alien to brethren and kin,
He knew of the shame and reproach
of a man that has fallen in sin.

He fasted in sackcloth and ashes;
he cried, "O God deliver me soul!
Restore unto me the salvation;
heal me, and make me whole."

The secret that was his turning
was when he began to praise;
He let go of the bondage of trails;
on God he fastened his gaze.

 He knew about being a stranger
and an alien to brethren and kin,
He EHe was filled up with gladness
when he focused away from the wrong.

"The humble shall see and be glad;
rejoice, and your heart shall live."
Out of our brokenness we must look up
to Him our praise must give.

 Let heaven and earth bring forth praise
 the sea, and all that moves therein!
 Let all that hath breath shout His name!
 To shout God, who heals from with in.
